It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roge Bess (Ashland City, Tennessee), born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on May 24, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orvan Almer Bess and Flora Irene Henderson Bess; his siblings, Juanita Bess, Harold Bess and Gary Bess; and his grandson Nathan Blunkall.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Fortenberry Bess; his children, Tim Bess (Jeri) of Hendersonville, TN, Charlie Manning (Alison) of Harrogate, TN, Penny Blunkall (Harold) of Old Hickory, TN and Patty Williams of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; and his brothers, Melvin Bess (Ruth) of Goodlettsville, TN, Wesley Bess (Martha) of Nashville, TN, James Bess (Isabel) of Nashville, TN and David Bess (Jennifer) of Hermitage, TN.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Roger Dale Bess, age 73, of Ashland City, Tennessee, was peacefully called home by his Lord and Savior on May 24th, 2020, after a long and arduous battle with COPD and Alzheimer's disease.
