He was predeceased by: his grandfather Bud Reed; his uncle Mike Reed; and his aunts, Tammy Reed and Debra Hooper Ellig. He is survived by: his parents, Jeffrey Neil Reed (Crystal) and Lori Hooper Mays (Jack); his children, Lexy Reed, Addison Reed and Alex Reed; his sister Brandi Hilborn (Adrian); his grandparents, Ann Reed, Juanita and Jack Fann; his cousin Hope Reed Oakley (Andrew); and his nephew Tripp Hilborn.
