He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Helen Brooks and Mary Helen Reedy (Brooks); his siblings, Sonny Brooks, Leo Ralph "Tinker" Hamilton, William "Billy" Hamilton, Oscar "Eddie" Hamilton, Judy Weisbrod and Ruthie Thompson; and his great grandchild Noah Taylor Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Hamilton (Smith); his children, Robert Anthony Hamilton (Jennifer Strange), Katherine Michelle Hoffmann (Darrel), Lydia Michelle Lawson, Christina "Krissy" Diane Ferrell (Bubba) and Maryruth Hamilton Raines (Eugene); and his sisters, Nancy Henderson (Fred), Paulette Warner (GW), Bobbett Gunnells, Ramona Tobitt (Terry) and Annette Getselman. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren.
