He is survived by: his close friend Sally Sykes; his children, Maria Canaday, Ruthie Canaday Few, Joey Canaday (Tammy) and John F. Canaday; his siblings, Eva Phillips (Bobby) and Louie Rathburn (Maryann); his grandchildren, Jennifer Shearon (Nate), Betty Canaday Williams (Chad) and David Batts; and his great grandchildren, Gabriel, Gavin, Jonathan, Jayli, Jackson and Jericho. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
