She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Baskett and Eva Apple Taylor; her husband Franklin Harris; and her son David Harris. She is survived by: her children, Danny Harris (Patricia), Ronnie Harris (Jeana), Kathy Nelson and Tammy Grice; and her siblings, Linda McGee (Leonard), Milton Baskett and Ricky Baskett. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
