He was predeceased by: his brothers, Ben and Elmer Story; and his grandson Paul Wayne. He is survived by: his wife Christine Ford Story; and his children, Pete, Sharon Story, David, Gail Story, Jimmy "Cotton", Annette Story, Charles "Speck", Helga Story, Becky, Zeke Dawson, Donna and Robert Hutchison. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
