It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nelda Harris Boyte (Ashland City, Tennessee), who passed away on December 3, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Harris and Dola Pardue Harris; her husband Howard "Gup" Boyte; and her siblings, J. C., Russell, Billy Ray, Jacky Harris, Chloe Boyte, Sybil Sanders, June Adkins, Eugenia Batts and Becky Hartman.

She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Frances Harris and Gene Hartman; and her nieces and nephews, Renee Betts (Kenny), Cheryl Staggs (Bubba), Sammy Adkins (Jan), Kenny Adkins (Lissa), Sheree Johnson (Butch), Bobby Harris (Shelia), Pam Meador (Greg), Jesse Wayne Boyte (Mary), Tommy Boyte (Sharon), Brooks Harris (JoAnn), Jan Batts, Nila Gale Hutton, Carol Walker and Olivia Foster. She is also survived by great-nieces and nephews and many friends.
