He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Morris King and Emma Jean King (Musser); and his brothers, Vernon Spicer and Steve Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Michelle King; his children, Charlie Wilkerson (Tracey), Tabatha McNeil (David), Winter Anderson (Kevin) and Hope King; his siblings, Virgil Spicer (Carolyn), Harold "Jimmy" Brooks, Sheila Wright (Ronald) and Teresa Lewis; his grandchildren, David McNeil (Autumn), Tyler McNeil, Evan McNeil, Maranda McNeil, Robert McNeil, Kobe Wilkerson, Natalie Kern (Timmy), Owen Wilkerson, Alexis Anderson, Kaylee Anderson, Nick Anderson and Izabella Nicholson; and his great grandchildren, David McNeil IV and Caroline Kern.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Cheatham County Funeral Home (117 Elizabeth St, Ashland City, TN 37015). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
