He was predeceased by: his siblings, Aubrey Earl Baggett of Franklin Baggett, W. G, Reta Hutchison, Grace Hutchison, Mina B. Leftwich and Imogene Johnson.

He is survived by: his wife Sarah Methvin Baggett; his daughter Gina Lynnette Baggett; his siblings, Donald Baggett and Anna Baskette; and his sister-in-law Crystal Lea McCarver (Dale). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
