She was predeceased by: her parents, William Johnson, and Helen Hoyt Johnson, Sr.; and her brother William R. Johnson, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Donald "Donnie" Garrett; her nieces and nephews, William Raymond Johnson, III, Andrew Johnson (Nicole), Shannon Johnson and Caroline Johnson; her great-nephew Keegan Johnson; and her godson Weston Ness.
