We are sad to announce that on June 22, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Joyce Matlock of Ashland City, Tennessee. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Earl Johnson and Floy Harris Johnson; her husband L. J. Matlock, Jr.; her daughter Patricia Matlock Ferguson; and her brothers, Ray and Pat Johnson.

She is survived by : her sons, Johnny Matlock (Pam) and Jeff Matlock (Melissa); her grandchildren, Leslie Kaalaas (Kurt), Jason Ferguson (Traci), Jennifer Brumit (Bobby), Caitlin Choate (Cody), Josh Matlock (Madelyn), Anne Matlock, Bo Matlock (Jennifer), Jack Matlock and Sam Matlock; and her nephew Ricky Johnson (Adrian). She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home (6316 Hwy 41 A, Pleasant View, TN 37146).

If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to Ashland City United Methodist Church or Forrest Hills Cemetery in Ashland City.
