Joy Patricia Mayo Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Patricia Mayo (Ashland City, Tennessee), who passed away on March 28, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ford (Pud) and Lottie Milliken Ford; her husband Jimmy Mayo, Sr.; her son Jimmy "Bubba" Mayo, Jr.; and her brother Guy Ford.
She is survived by: her daughter Fairy Mayo (Bo Henderson); her grandson Jared Mayo; her great grandchildren, Trevor Mayo and Clayton Mayo; her sisters, Sandra Ford and Deborah Decker (Tony); her sisters-in-law, Pamela Ford, Peggy Begley (Rick), Ruth Holloway (Roy) and Doris Mayes (Milton); her stepgrandchildren, Ashley Hastings and Michael Harris III; and her close friend George David Binkley. She is also survived by four step great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research.
