It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Ray Murr Sr. (Ashland City, Tennessee), born in Denison, Texas, who passed away on October 1, 2018, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bud Murr and Betty Joe Raines; and his grandson Kevin Hartley. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Faye Murr; his children, Johnny Ray Murr, Jr., Tony Hartley, Chris Hartley and Tammy Williams; and his sister Bonnie Raines. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Johnny be made to the United States Veterans Alliance, P.O. Box 215, Ashland City, TN 37015.
