He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dudley Lovell, Jr. and Connie Reeder (Reeder); and his brother Bronson Hunter. He is survived by: his children, J. D. Lovell, IV (Samantha) and Tatum Lovell; his sister Jackie Lovell; and his granddaughter Isla Lovell.
