He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Mills and Mary Lou Mills; his wife Ann Neal Coles; and his siblings, Joseph Coles and Jackie Griffin.
He is survived by: his son Jonathan Coles; his sister Judy Mills (John); his siblings-in-law, Wayne Griffin, Murray Neal (Dean), Dianne Coles, Frances Felts and Mary Ethel Elam (Kenneth); his nieces and nephews, Angela, Kimberly Griffin, Jenn Rains (Michael), Sherri Banovatz (Robert), Karen Galbreath (Troy), Beth Harris (Randy), Don Felts (Pam) and Kevin Neal (Melissa); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Richie Harris, Brad Galbreath (Lacey), Bryant Harris, Brianna McCoy (Jacob), Karlie, Emma Felts, Troy Galbreath (Rachel) and Kristi Rediker (Richard, Jr.); and his caregiver Brandy Trejo.
