She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Roberts and Belva Roberts; and her husband Bob Wheeler Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Linda Pierce (Carl) and Vernon Wheeler; her brother Donald Roberts (Jewell); and her sister-in-law Birdy Johnson of Donelson. She is also survived by many granddaughters and great-grandchildren.
She had battled for over 3 years with Alzheimer's.
