He is survived by: his wife Jennie B. Austin; his sisters, Helen Nicholson (Jerry) and Patricia Simpkins; and his children, James Austin (Rosemary), Andrew Austin, Thomas Austin, Phillip Austin and Sandra Hudgens. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 11 great- grandchildren.
