He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles K. Hardesty and Margaret V. Hardesty (Owens); his wife Fay Hardesty (Binkley); and his nephew Michael Hooper. He is survived by: his nephew Eric Hooper; his niece Teresa Hooper; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Dustin Pruitt, Jason Hooper, Carla Hooper and Alyssa McDaniel; and also, Austin Pruitt and Eva McDaniel.
