It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Ebb Gupton Sr. (Ashland City, Tennessee), who passed away on June 28, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, W. E. "Dick" Gupton and Mavis Keith Gupton; and his son David Gupton. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Gupton (Sanders); his children, James Gupton (Shelly), Michael Gupton (Sarah) and Stephanie Allen (Bryan); his grandchildren, Mary Ashton McClellan (Chris), Sarah Bishop (Tristin), Daniel Gupton, Rachel Allen, Michelle Gupton, Lillie Mae Gupton, Emmy Lynn Gupton, Olivia Gupton, Elizabeth Gupton and Mary Claire Gupton; and his great grandchildren, Linnie Grace McClellan and Weston Bishop.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Monroe Carell, Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, or Shriners Hospital.
