He is survived by: his wife Joan Newlyn Powell; his sons, Mark Powell (Hannelore) and Keith Powell (Larea); and his siblings, David 'Pete Powell (Patti), Karen Farabee (Wayne) and Melody Powell. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
