It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Lindsay of Ashland City, Tennessee, born in Dover, Tennessee, who passed away on October 20, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lindsay and Pocahontas Wofford Lindsay; and his son William Franklin Lindsay. He is survived by: his wife Leona Lindsay; his children, Clifford Wayne Lindsay and Marketta Ann Utley; his brothers, Lawrence O'Neal Lindsay (Mary Jo) and R. Dale Lindsay (Lynn); his grandchildren, Hope Ann Jordan (Chris), Paul David Utley (Ashley), Grace Marie Sullivan (Josh) and Kyle Wayne Lindsay; and his great grandchildren, Cora Jordan, Ozias Sullivan and Jonah Sullivan.
