Geneva Carter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geneva Carter of Ashland City, Tennessee, who passed away on February 27, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Geneva may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Edwards and Dovie Manning Edwards; her husband Wesley Frank Carter; and her daughters, Deborah Susan Carter and Nancy Faye Carter.
She is survived by: her sons, James Carter (Rita), Danny Carter (Terry) and Ken Carter. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 AM, on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM and from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Spring Hill Funeral Home (5110 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery (5110 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216).
