He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hale and Lois Choate Hale; his wife Lora Hale; and his children, Brian Daniels and Joy Perry.
He is survived by: his children, Robert "Dino" Hale (Kim), Pattie Dean (Paul) and Debbie Schmittou (Johnny); his sister Pattie Sue Bess (Larry); his grandchildren, John, Eli Hale, Heather Welch, Michael Mai, Jaima Cross, Jordan and Jon Schmittou; his nephew Jimmy McCool; and his pet Toodles. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
