He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Arthur Copan, Sr. and Catherine Marchand Copan. He is survived by: his children, William "Bill" Copan (Tarina), Christopher Copan (Karen), Holly Peterson (Brian) and Catherine Copan; and his brother John Copan. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
