He is survived by: his daughters, Melanie Koptik (Peter) of Ada, MI and Bonnie Mitchell (Doug) of Ashland City, TN.; his sister Gladys Ashburn of Nashville, TN.; his grandchildren, Rachael Koptik (Tom Freeman) and Max Koptik; and his great grandchildren, Camden Freeman and Cleo Freeman.
