He was predeceased by: his father George Boyd; and his siblings, James, Clarence, Jewel, Tony, Jimmy Boyd, Katie Darrow, Edith Hargrove and Virginia Gibbs.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Ann Hunter Boyd; his children, Wendy Boyd of Sweetwater and Adam; his daughter-in-law Laura Boyd of Naples; his grandchildren, Hunter, Mackenzie Boyd and Kimora Lyon; his sisters, Nellie Perry and Lillie Davidson; his sister-in-law Joyce Boyd; and his pet Gus.
