He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Majors and Ernesta Baker; his wife Carrie Lois Bell Majors; his siblings, Robert, Cordell, Glenn, Buford, J. B. Majors and Zenobia Pearson; and his stepson Milton Bell.
He is survived by: his brother Elmer Majors of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; his sisters-in-law, Velma and Mary Majors; and his children, Melva Lane (Tamale) of Hendersonville, TN, Tim Majors of Hermitage, TN, Michael Majors (Michelle) of Clarksville, TN and Ronnie Majors (Carolyn) of Ashland City, TN. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
