He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorris, Sr. Potts and Joann Green Potts; and his siblings, Dorris Potts, Jr. and Claressia Hampton. He is survived by: his son Samuel Dean Elkins Potts (Lisa Marie Elkins); his sister Donna DeLoach; and his stepchildren, Jimmy Dale Baker, Rodney Baker (Angie) and Lisa Marie Binkley (Scott). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews.
