He was predeceased by: his wife Kathy Boyd; his parents, Charles O. Boyd and Menevelyn Boyd; and his brothers, Wayne, Errol and Milton Boyd.
He is survived by: his children, Crystal Holcomb (Ronnie), Charlotte Thomas, Amanda Christenson (Blane) and Dean Boyd (Meghan); his great grandchildren, Alexia Grant, Noah and Elizabeth White; and his brother Rohney Boyd.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:15 PM and on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Boyd Funeral Home (101 Elizabeth St, Ashland City, TN 37015). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ever Rest (545 TN-49, Ashland City, TN 37015).
