He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Nathan Bratcher and Ruby Pitt Bratcher; his daughter Jackie Smith; and his siblings, Nathan Bratcher, Howard Bratcher, Eugene Bratcher, Herbert Bratcher, Bill Bratcher, Everette Bratcher, Mildred Blankenship and Elizabeth Fama.
He is survived by: his wife Vera Wright Bratcher; his children, Samuel Bratcher (Regina), Matthew Bratcher, Diane Bratcher, Sabrina Seay (Bill) and Cindy Jones (Bobby); and his sisters, Christine Grady (Ken), Sylvia Adams and Marie Resha. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
