He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harold Lynch and Mary Louise Bryant Lynch; his wife Gaila Lynch; and his sister Alicia Lynch. He is survived by: his son David Lynch, Jr.; his brothers, James Michael Lynch and Alan Wendall Lynch; and his grandson David Jr.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Spring Hill Funeral Home (5110 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery (5110 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216).
