She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Vester and Martha Williams Vester; her husband Jack Moody; her daughter Cheryl Simmons; her sister Adelle Hopkins; and her grandsons, Shane and Stratton Jones.
She is survived by: her sons, Donnie (Gloria) and Mike Jones; her sister Dorothy Burroughs (Jimmy); her son-in-law Wayne Simmons; and her grandchildren, Jeffery Simmons, Parker, Grayson and Todd Jones.
