With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Lacy Fields of Ashland City, Tennessee, born in Milan, Tennessee, who passed away on September 9, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Virgil and Esther Lacy Fields; and his brother Richard Fields (Ann Fields). He is survived by: his children, Brad Fields (Kathy), Beth Breeden (Jerry) and Mary Catherine Fields; and his grandchildren, Josh, Kate and Nathan. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
Our family extends appreciation to Dr. Tim Hinton (VUMC), Sarah Bell, and the healthcare providers and staffs of Hillcrest Health Center and Alive Hospice for their compassion in caring for Dad.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, Samaritan's Purse, or the charity of your choice.
