He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Morgan Sanders and Rosa Sanders (McCarroll); and his siblings, Jack Sanders, Virginia Martin and Elizabeth Price.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Sanders (Valarie), Lisa Ambuehl (Dale), Stephanie Stuer (Michael), Patricia Deala and Elizabeth Street (Jason); his brother G. W. Sanders; and his grandchildren, Crystal Powers (Richard), Kristen Lacy Rushing (John), Valerie Ambuehl, Jamaica Turner, Nathan Turner (Jaycee), Patrick Furlough, Christina Madar (Dakota), Jonathan Barr, Alexis Green (Clinton), Jacob Sanders (Joslyn) and Austin Sanders (Elizabeth). He is also survived by 26 great grandchildren.
