She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Joe and Clara Bassham (White); her husband Jay Newell; her daughter Kimberly Hindman; her grandson Josh Hindman; and her sisters, Lee Stevenson and Edith Green.
She is survived by: her sons, Tony Newell, Keith Newell (Angela) and Mitchell Newell (Patsy); her grandchildren, Chapple Arnold (Travis), Bryant Newell, Caleb Newell, Jeremy Hindman (Chassity), Justin Newell (Susan), Luke Newell (Dana) and Lydia Binkley (Ezra); and her sisters, Joan Balitsky and Lana Hogan (Bobby). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sycamore Chapel Church of Christ.
