She was predeceased by: her husband Buford Thomas Newman; and her son Thomas Dale Newman. She is survived by: her children, James Wesley Newman, Norma June Hunter, Jerry Lynn Newman (Pam) and Penny Renee Tomlin; and her sister Jane Curtis (Gary). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren.
