It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Vance of Arrington, Tennessee, born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, who passed away on January 26, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Dee Vance, Sr. and Flora Hoover Vance; his wife Anna Frances Wood Vance; and his siblings, Claude Dee Vance, Jr., Ralph Vance, Jean Alsup and Ruth Wood.

He is survived by: his children, Christopher H. Vance (Karen) of Sunset, SC and Julie Vance Broach; and his grandchildren, Jessica Vance, Megan Vance, Andrew "Drew" Ellsworth, Laura Ellsworth Steyer and Mary Ellsworth.
