John William Cothern Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2019, at the age of 71, John William Cothern (Arrington, Tennessee), born in Memphis, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Cothern and Juanita Cothern (Bell); and his sister Ann Sorensen. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Cothern; his children, John, Catherine Cothern, Joanie and Marshall DeWitt; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Aiden and Olivia; his brother Burt Cothern; and his brother-in-law Joe Sorensen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a gift may be made to either the University of Memphis or Middle Tennessee State University General Scholarship Funds.
