He is survived by: his close friend Judge J. Randall Wyatt; his wife Karen Lee Shaver; his daughter Ginger Obunge; his stepson Kane Adams (Dana); his grandchildren, Ashlynn Ransom, Megan Ransom, Jayce Obunge and Maya Obunge; his stepgrandchildren, Morgan Adams and Ellis Adams; his great grandchild Arria Ransom; and his brother George "Dickie" Shaver.
