We bid farewell to Robert L. Sanders of Arlington, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 30, 2024 at the age of 93. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Sanders; his parents, James Sanders and Bonnie Sanders; and his brothers, Donald Sanders and Jack Sanders.

He is survived by: his children, Cathy Hardwick Polk (Aubrey), Robert Lowery Sanders, Jr. (Janet), James Roy Sanders and David Lee Sanders (Lorrie); his sister Mary Katherine Hickle; his grandchildren, Robert D. Sanders (Danielle), Jana L. Simpson (Michael), Joshua D. Polk (Angela), Joseph A. Polk, Amanda P. Oliver (Cody), Kristen C. Sanders and Adam Sanders (Brittany); and his great grandchildren, Skylar, Landon, Camden, Cody, Monica, Jay, Lily, Amos, Daisy, Slade, Jack and Lucy.
