She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Hans, Jamie Engelage, Ruth and Harry Lewis. She is survived by: her parents, Becky Lewis and Mark Lewis; her husband Joseph Nelms; her sister Allison Lewis; and her grandparents, Dan and Myrna Wilmoth.

In lieu of flowers, Joseph has asked for donations to go to Life Choices of Memphis.
