John Ralph Hanks Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2025, at the age of 77, John Ralph Hanks of Arlington, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Hanks and Dorothy B. Hanks (Todd); and his stepdaughter S. Denice Foster Ray. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Hanks; his children, Cathy Hanks and J. R. Hanks (Katherine); his stepson Shawn Foster; his son Joshua Hanks (Elijah Foster); his siblings, Martha Salmon, Carolyn Williams (Hulen) and Glenn Hanks; his sister-in-law Karen York; and his grandchildren, Miranda Loftin, Lindsey Loftin, Kailey Hanks, E. K. Hanks (Elizabeth Katherine), Jacob Ray (Brianna), Olivia Hudson (Josh), Meghan Ray, Adam Foster, Joshua Foster Hanks and Elijah Foster. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel (7450 Raleigh Millington Rd, Millington, TN 38053). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
