She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Henry Trotter; her husband John Otis Cosby; and her siblings, Frankie Trotter, Russell Trotter, Cleo Cash, May Knight, Clay Trotter and Earnest Trotter.

She is survived by: her daughter Virginia K. Ulrich of Cordova, TN; and her grandchildren, Stephanie S. Burgess of Licking, MO, Casey L. Humphries of Jonesboro, AR and Melissa K Humphries of Arlington, TN. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
