He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Boyett and Irene Boyett (Edge); his brothers, Donald and Randy Boyett; and his sister-in-law Blanche Boyett.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Thompson; his children, Diane and James (Selena); his granddaughters, Dawn and Jaimee; his great grandchildren, Ella and Allie Campos; his siblings, Dewey, Kenneth (Sheila), Chester (Dianne), Douglas (Connie), Horace (Darlene), Jackie (Cheryl) and Lesa (Tim); and his sister-in-law Sonya. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, uncles, cousins, and other assorted family members.
