It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Lafayette Parkerson of Apison, Tennessee, born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on April 23, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father George Washington Lafayette Parkerson; his wife Sandra Parkerson; his son Kent Parkerson; his grandchildren, Rachel Blevins and Brad Parkerson; and his siblings, Leon Ware and Angel Worley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Anita Reed and Vickie Allen (Clifford); his stepdaughters, Melinda Moneymaker and Stephanie Young (Scott); and his grandchildren, Bobby Joe Blevins, Taylor Hensley (Ty Hensley), Jarred Blevins, Jacob Parkerson, Drake Norman (Starr), Sarah Grant (Greg) and Richard Pursley (Mayi).
