She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas Helton, Sr. and Sallie Kate Dixon Helton; her husband Nickey A. Bowman; her son-in-law Bill Lockerby; her siblings, JT Helton, Jr., Johnny Helton, Louise Wooden (Bill), Lila Williams (Jesse) and Alline Burns; and her brothers-in-law, Doug Sisemore and Max Murray.
She is survived by: her children, Nikki Lockerby, Greg Bowman (Wendy), Wes Bowman (Rebekah) and Allyson Bowman; her grandchildren, Katie (Jimmy), Abby (Seth), Charlie, Teddy (Andrea), Caleb (Emily), Ben (Sara), Hannah (Spike), Lydia (Thomas), David, Caitlin (Parker), Luke (Alexa), Noah and Cameron; her siblings, Bernice Sisemore, JoAnn Splawn (Jimmy), Christine Murray and Kenny Helton (Diane); and her siblings-in-law, Linda Helton and Ken Burns (Eleanor). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and many lifelong friends.
