He was predeceased by: his father Larry A. Boyd; his cousin James Boyd; his grandparents, Barbara Stirckland, Ernest Reel, Linda Clark-Boyd and Roy Lee Boyd, Sr.; and his aunts, Kimberly Tant and Sherri Reel.

He is survived by: his wife Marissa Boyd; his mother Angela Boyd; his sister Bridgett Boyd; his nieces and nephews, Kaydence Boyd, Tandice Boyd, Landyn Crawford and Jaykub Church; his uncle Ernest Reel, Jr.; his aunt Pamela Vorsteg (Stan); and his pets, Little Bit, Sally, Peanut, Princess and Bowser.
