He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wood and Dorothy Wood; his former wife Barbara Trammell Wood; and his brother Don Wood. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Wood; his stepchildren, Michelle Walker (Sam) of Abingdon, VA and Rick Prater; his children, Brian Wood of Chattanooga, Sherri Bales of Chattanooga and Susan Wood (Margo Paraska) of Chattanooga; his grandsons, Jeremy Bales (Allie) of Franklin, TN and Jonathan Bales (Hannah); and his sisters, Ruth Dunn (Jack) of Chickamauga, GA and LaBelle Mayberry (Orville) of Chickamauga, GA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Clifton Moreece Wood, age 83, of Apison, TN died today March 16th 2020 at home due to complications related to advanced stages of Alzheimer's disease.
