With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thaddeus Ashby (Nashville, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 9, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leila Tyler and Arthur Ashby; and his siblings, Robert Tyler, James Tyler, Joseph Tyler, William Tyler, Charles Ashby, Louise Snowden, Velma Cason, Amanda Jones, Frances Tyler and Minnie Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Ashby; and his children, Thaddeus Clay Ashby, Jr. of San Diego, CA, Christopher Adkison (Kimberly) of Clarksville, TN, Paul Ashby (Tashley) of Huntsville, AL and Karla Kirby (Derrick) of Washington, DC.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the New Generation Funeral Home (2930 Murfreesboro Pike, Antioch, TN 37013). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
