We are sad to announce that on March 16, 2022, at the age of 81, Ruth Darlene Whitacre of Antioch, Tennessee, born in Decatur, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Jacobs and Ruth Eileen Jacobs (Trimmer); and her husband Jess "Woody" Wayne Whitacre. She is survived by: her daughter Jessica "Jesi" Price (Derrick) of Rockvale, TN; her siblings, Robert "Bob" Jacobs of Houston, TX and Patricia "Patty" Chait of Georgetown, TX; her grandchildren, Sawyer and Maverick; and her nieces, Kristin, Michelle and Amy.
